Bangkok is the capital of Thailand, and is a large urban city which has a little bit of everything for tourists to explore. Also a hub for tourists, travelling to nearby provinces like Pattaya, Ayutthaya, Khao Yai and more are usually around 2 – 3 hours, which allows you plenty of time to do a 1-day tour and get back to your hotel in the evening. Do not be put of by the metropolitan feel of Bangkok, there is still much fun to be had, and we would recommend first timers to spend some time in Bangkok before heading out!
